Santa Erica is a fictional American small town inspired from the comic Ming and Ed. The short hand-drawn stop-motion animation shows the panorama of the town: teenagers at night in the convenience store, a football player practicing on the playground, a redneck mowing his lawn, a motel, a church, the high school... Monotonous and boring? Or is there something more hidden behind it? That's up to the beholder. Welcome to Santa Erica! This project was selected for Kurzfilmwanderung Leipzig, and FiSH Film Festival Hamburg.
